ACSM and ADA guidelines recommend combined aerobic and resistance training as adjunctive lifestyle support for adults with type 2 diabetes.[1][2] PTD delivers that training 1-on-1 in your home or office, on an executive schedule, coordinated with the endocrinologist or GP managing your medical care.

Skeletal muscle is the largest site of insulin-mediated glucose uptake. The training plan is built around progressive compound lifts — squats, hinges, presses, rows — at a load and volume your recovery can absorb. Aerobic conditioning is layered in, not the headline.
Sessions run before 7am, after 8pm or in a midday window that fits the diary. Your coach travels — home, building gym, hotel gym, office. The same coach for all 36 sessions watches the patterns rather than seeing you for one isolated workout.
With your consent, your coach shares programming details and observed responses with your prescribing physician. Medication, glucose targets and clinical decisions stay with the endocrinologist or GP. The exercise programme is delivered alongside that care — not in place of it.
Dr. Ridda Abdullah · Practising doctor and PTD client. Worked with coach Natasha 1-on-1. Outcome shared in her own words on energy, sleep, and a healthier relationship with food. A doctor-credentialed voice on what training 1-on-1 with PTD looks like in practice.
"I am Doctor Ridda Abdullah. I am thirty-three years old and mom of two. When I started, I was really really fat, around seventy-five kgs. And then she helped me bring me down to my current weight is fifty-seven kgs. Other than that, my energy levels were really low. I was not feeling like my own self. I would highly, highly recommend Natasha. She's an amazing trainer, amazing coach. She has helped me not only with my workouts, but with my nutrition, with how to eat, how to have a positive relationship with food. Right now I'm so happy that my sleep has improved, my energy levels have improved, I'm able to play with my toddler, I'm able to carry my infant without feeling fatigued. I would highly recommend Natasha. She is amazing."
Yes — and ACSM and ADA guidelines explicitly recommend combined aerobic and resistance training as adjunctive lifestyle support for adults with type 2 diabetes. The exercise programme is delivered by PTD alongside the medical care led by your endocrinologist or GP.
Yes. With your consent, your coach can share programming details and observed responses so your endocrinologist or GP has visibility on exercise patterns. Medication and clinical decisions stay with the prescribing physician.
Resistance training increases muscle mass, which is a major site of insulin-mediated glucose uptake. Combined with aerobic conditioning and consistent nutrition, this is a foundational lifestyle layer recommended by international diabetes care guidelines as an adjunct to medical management.
Yes. Sessions can be scheduled before 7am or after 8pm in your home, building gym or hotel gym. Your coach plans intensity around your day, hydration and food intake to avoid disrupting an executive schedule.
Many PTD clients are in the pre-diabetic range and use structured strength + conditioning to support lifestyle changes alongside their clinician's plan. The programme is identical in structure; the conversation with your physician is what shapes specifics.
We recommend it. PTD doesn't deliver medical care. Your physician's clearance for structured exercise is the right starting point and lets the coach calibrate the programme to clinical realities like medication timing and any cardiovascular considerations.
The session comes to you. Programming is built for your medical context, your schedule and your starting point — not a group class template. One coach across 12 weeks watches the patterns rather than seeing you for one session at a time.
The coach supports protein intake, meal structure and habit formation. Specific medical nutrition therapy — carbohydrate counting tied to insulin, for example — stays with your dietitian or endocrinologist. The two roles are complementary.
Tell the coordinator. PTD reassigns to a different coach at no cost. The same 12-week programme continues; only the relationship changes.
36 sessions across 12 weeks, typically three sessions per week, with 120-day validity. AED 12,276 ex-VAT (AED 341 per session). Includes programming, nutrition support and progress tracking.
Book a free 15-minute consultation. A PTD coordinator will match you with the right coach for your medical context, schedule, location and goal — within 24 hours.
